Grace learned a new trick

last night she successfully climbed off my lap. she discovered that if she used both hands to push she could get to the floor. it scared her at first, when her feet hit the floor, then she was excited. She still doesn't know what to do when she gets to the floor though. she doesn't crawl yet, but she scoots sideways like a crab. she also started giving kisses. ok, actually she opens her mouth as wide as she can and attacks my face with slobber or just licks me. it's so cute, and yet so very gross. oh yeah, she likes the computer. she hits it when it stops playing music.

home sweet home

ok, so first I will tell you of our adventures leaving Long Island. When Erik and Will went to get the trailer from Uhaul, they had to buy some wiring for the jeep. that took a lot longer than expected, so we waited for Erik's mom to come home from work. we didn't leave Long Island until 6:30pm, when we should have left before 2. Erik flew down the roads in order to get to the apartment before it got too late for the landlord. we made it by 10, amazing! we got everything set up and then began waiting for Erik's family to arrive with our stuff. 3 hours later (or more), Erik managed to find them and guide them here. needless to say, our neighbors were not very happy with us moving in at 2am. they stayed a couple of nights and then went back home. I am sure with 3 babies taking turns crying our neighbors are sick of us already, but hopefully we will be able to show them that we aren't always so noisy. Though, Grace discovered the acoustics here are great for singing. that's what we did while we waited for everyone to come. ok, ok! here are the pictures!

Grace loves to go for rides. And now that it is finally sunny here I decided to spend $1 and get her some sun glasses.
She wasn't a big fan at first, but once she realized what they were for she liked them. she likes riding in shopping carts (she prefers the ones with the car seats on them) and sitting in highchairs at restaurants (though some are too big)
but still her favorite thing to do is bounce. She likes to play with her cousin Alex, who is going to miss her when we move to the Boston area, he gave her a big hug last night (soo cute!).
Did I mention that she likes to eat? and loves her new sippy cup (Munchkin)

Don't ask me why, I don't know. But it sure is funny, it calms her down every time.
